By purchasing and wearing items from ModuJade, you acknowledge that our pieces are hand-carved from natural gemstones and paired with handcrafted accessories or pouches. Because white jade is a natural stone, subtle variations in color, translucency, grain, and shape are inherent to the material and are a sign of its authenticity—not a defect.

2. Product Care & Material Integrity

Jade is a natural mineral and, while durable, it can chip, crack, or fracture if subjected to hard impacts, pressure, drops onto hard surfaces, or sudden temperature changes.

  • Handling: Handle your jewelry with care. Store each piece individually in your Modu Jade pouch to prevent scratching from contact with other jewelry.

  • Chemical Exposure: Avoid exposing jade to harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics, chlorine, or abrasive cleaning solutions. Clean gently using a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

  • Wear & Tear: Inspect cords, and stone settings regularly. Discontinue wear if a stone becomes loose, chipped, or damaged to avoid further breakage or skin irritation.

  • Skin Care: While natural jade and our woven threads are generally gentle on the skin, individual sensitivities to materials or dyes can occur. If you experience any redness, swelling, or skin irritation, remove the item immediately.
